Head Chef Seamus Duggan serves the freshest seafood as the restaurant is perfectly located to select the finest and freshest of the daily catch off Guernsey's native shores.
Pier 17 is renowned also for its very popular 'fierce and fiery' steak, a firm favourite of many.It is hard to find a steak that betters this one - always served to perfection. So much so often a task to consider anything else!
That said, Seamus' scallops are also extremely popular and always cooked to perfection. The many other choices cater for every palate and are always beautifully presented and perfectly cooked - a restaurant locals attend regularly.
A favourite starter is the prawns and calamari - again it's very hard to stray by choosing an alternative! But the starter selection is really varied and again caters for an extensive choice of tastes.
The staff here are always wonderfully welcoming and very attentive without being intrusive. The wine selection is also excellent and not over priced.
If you have enough room left for pudding the selection again is hard to beat. The sticky toffee pudding is mouth watering. The cheesecake delicious and the chocolate brownie a favourite of my children. This is definitely one not to be missed. Always look forward to dinner there!
