Guernsey's Guided Tours

Local bus company Island Coachways operates regular seasonal tours of the island by coach. The three hour tours take in some of Guernsey's prime visitor attractions and run from May until the end of September. The company also runs a historic 'Occupation Tour' for visitors who are interested in the wartime period when the island fell under German rule.

Most of Guernsey's guided tours are designed for visitors and local residents who love to walk. They are provided by independent, fully accredited walking guides and they cover almost every aspect of the island's natural environment and its rich human heritage - from coastal and countryside rambles to historic walking tours within the old town of St Peter Port. Guernsey also stages two special 'Walking Weeks' every year, one in the spring and another in the autumn, when all the best walks are put together in a special programme. The walks also extend to the smaller islands surrounding Guernsey and during the summer months you can join one of the weekly garden tours led by Herm's head gardener Brett Moore, who will introduce you to the island's unique floral delights.
