Fleur du Jardin Restaurant
Guernsey
It is not unusual to see a local fisherman dragging a 10lb sea bass through to the kitchen for onward delivery to the table. We, on Guernsey, are lucky to be blessed with an abundance of local sea stock from the Guernsey waters ensuring year round freshness and quality and the Fleur takes full advantage of all these natural resources.
The Bar Manager takes great pride in embellishing the awards and inclusions in 'CAMRA' by constantly changing their selection of real ales, this together with a carefully prepared Wine List makes for a suitably rewarding culinary experience.
The Food... Gastro pub food cooked simply. The watchwords in the kitchen are freshness and seasonality, underpinned by a deep rooted respect for the surrounding waters and pastures. Expect superb Guernsey beef, West Coast Scallops and line caught seafood.
We have enjoyed many family Sunday lunches here and with friends and their families. We often come here by bike taking in the many picturesque routes - allowing us to burn off the many calories of what has always been a thoroughly enjoyable lunch or evening meal...
Recently awarded ‘The Best Dining Pub’ in the Channel Islands by the Good Food Guide, the Fleur is chic country-living with all the pleasures and freedom of the nearby coast.
