Guernsey
At a glance
Camp de Rêves Glamping is a luxury glamping site at Rue du Paysans au Val St Peters, set in a peaceful position overlooking Guernsey’s west coast. The accommodation combines the feel of an outdoor escape with ensuite facilities, private outdoor space and practical comforts for short breaks, family holidays and group stays.
Five safari tents provide spacious accommodation for up to six people. Each has ensuite facilities, a private deck and an enclosed garden, creating room for relaxed outdoor meals and family time. The tents are designed for a sociable style of stay, with enough space for groups of friends or families while keeping the coastal setting close at hand.
Three shepherd huts offer a quieter option for two adults. Located among pine trees in the lower field, they have ensuite shower and toilet facilities, log-burning stoves and broad sea views. Their more secluded position gives these units a calm, retreat-style atmosphere, suited to couples looking for a slower stay and evening views across the coast.
Two ranger lodges accommodate up to six people and sit among greenery. Each lodge has a private garden, a generous deck, an electric stove and access to a raised tree-top den with a hideaway bed. The den provides an unusual extra sleeping and viewing space, with outdoor stairs leading to it, making the lodges a practical choice for families or groups who want additional room.
Shared facilities are arranged around outdoor living. A communal area includes a pizza oven, fire pit and pétanque pitch, while a large children’s play area supports family stays. An oak-framed barn provides an indoor space for games and gatherings when outdoor plans need a change of scene. Safari tents also have facilities suited to barbecue evenings, with their enclosed gardens offering a degree of privacy.
The site has an environmentally responsible character, with its approach to sustainable tourism forming part of the wider experience. Fast Wi-Fi is available, allowing guests to stay connected while still enjoying the open setting. The surrounding area lends itself to swimming, surfing, walking, cycling and birdwatching, and the onsite team provides local recommendations for exploring the island.
